The University of the Cordilleras (UC) and Asia Pacific College (APC) successfully concluded the UC–APC Architecture Design Critique Exchange, a two-day event that brought together architecture students, mentors, and industry professionals for an engaging exchange of ideas, creativity, and collaboration.
Held over two days of presentations and discussions, the event provided a platform for students to showcase their design projects, receive constructive feedback, and gain professional insights from distinguished architects and educators. The critique exchange emphasized design thinking, innovation, and collaboration as essential components of architectural education.
Participants impressed the panel with their detailed models, thoughtful concepts, and forward-looking proposals addressing design and sustainability challenges. The activity not only strengthened students’ creative and technical skills but also encouraged critical reflection on how architecture can respond to social and environmental needs.
UC extends its gratitude to all mentors, critics, and organizers who dedicated their time and expertise to make the event a success. Their guidance and shared experiences provided valuable learning opportunities that continue to shape the next generation of architects.
The UC–APC Architecture Design Critique Exchange reflects UC’s ongoing commitment to fostering academic collaboration, creative excellence, and design innovation in architectural education.

The UC–APC Architecture Design Critique Exchange supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting experiential and collaborative learning that strengthens creativity, technical competence, and professional growth among students. It contributes to SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by encouraging design solutions that are innovative, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of the built environment. Finally, it advances SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by establishing academic and professional collaboration between UC, APC, and the architecture industry, fostering shared learning and collective advancement in sustainable design education.
