Each research initiative reflected a shared vision of resilience, inclusivity, and sustainability- anchored on the belief that design, science, and technology must work hand in hand to build better cities.

The Research Colloquium 2024 reaffirmed the transformative power of collaboration between the academe and local government. It demonstrated that when ideas are met with action, meaningful progress toward sustainable urban development becomes possible.

The UC College of Engineering and Architecture extends its appreciation to its partners from SLU, the City Government of Baguio, and the UAP Baguio Chapter for creating a platform that empowers students and professionals to engage in research that shapes a more sustainable future.

Innovating together, we can build a brighter, greener, and more resilient Baguio City.

The Research Colloquium 2024 supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting academic collaboration and research-based learning that cultivates innovation and critical thinking. It advances SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through studies that apply technology and sustainable design in addressing urban challenges. It aligns with SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by prioritizing projects focused on livable, resilient, and inclusive urban development.
